Add Google Talk and Twitter into Windows Live Messenger
BuddyFuse is a free add-on for Windows Live Messenger that integrates Google Talk, Twitter and Hyves (a popular Dutch social network) into your Windows Live Messenger. Moreover, this add-on can notifies you of new incoming email messages from your Gmail account.
After installation, BuddyFuse icon will show up at the top right of your Windows Live Messenger.
To use Google Talk and Twitter on Windows Live Messenger, you will need to first associate your Google and Twitter accounts with this chat application. Click the BuddyFuse icon, then select the “Manage BuddyFuse accounts”. A window similar to the one below will appeared. You can now insert the details of your Google and Twitter accounts.
Once you have added your Google and Twitter accounts, you will notice new buttons for Google Talk and Twitter (next to the BuddyFuse icon).
Click on the Google Talk button to sign up your Google Talk. All your Google Talk chat contacts will be loaded into the Messenger. When your friends are online on Google Talk you can chat with them just like with regular Messenger buddies. Also, you will receive notifications for new messages in your Gmail.
For Twitter, you need to configure BuddyFuse to automatically tweet your Messenger personal message status updates to your Twitter account. To do so, simply click on the Twitter button, then check the “Automatically tweet status updates” option.
The Google Talk and Twitter integration is just for the beginning. For future release, there will be support for more chat networks (XMPP/AIM/ICQ) and social networks like Facebook. Just wait for it.
